• In 2009, Leica Camera released the Leica M8 ‘White Edition'. Limited to only 275 sets for the worldwide market, the edition included a Leica M8 camera painted white and covered in white leather, and a very special Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH lens, which is offered here for sale.

  The Leica Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH, silver 'The White Edition' is one of the only ways to get this particular lens in silver, as it was never offered in serial production in any color other than black. The lens barrel is aluminum, keeping the weight of the lens to a minimum, and has a number of unique design features. The lens’ focus tab is white, as is all the lettering and numbering on the lens barrel.

  Additionally, the lens came with a leather lens case in white, as well as a matching silver aluminum front lens cap, and silver aluminum vented circular lens shade.

  This rare lens is in fantastic shape with only faint signs of use, and comes complete as new with the original box, packaging, paperwork, lens case, rear lens cap, front lens cap, and lens hood.
