• The Hektor 135mm lens was produced between 1933 and 1960.  The lens element design has four elements with the middle two elements cemented, which made this lens more expensive to produce.  With the advent of the PLOOT mirror reflex housing the lens head could be detached and used with suitable adapters.  In 1954 this lens model became available with the M mount to be used with the Leica M3.

  This particular lens is clean and shows signs of normal use.  The lens has some wear marks and scratches.  The focusing ring is smooth to turn. The aperture has no click stops and turns smoothly.  The glass is clean.  This lens has also had a recent CLA from DAG Camera.  The work completed was cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted all parts to proper working condition.
