Created in collaboration with Grammy Award-winning artist and photographer Seal, the Leica Q2 “Dawn” is an exceptionally distinctive special edition, limited to just 500 pieces worldwide.

Inspired by komorebi—the interplay of sunlight filtering through a forest canopy—the camera is wrapped in an iridescent black-and-gold Japanese woven fabric produced by renowned textile house Hosoo. Woven from black thread and gold-colored washi paper, the material creates subtle variations in pattern and texture, making each camera unique.

Special details include a black Leica logo, Seal’s signature and individual edition number beneath the rear display glass, and a dedicated rope strap featuring the handwritten lyric, “you became the light on the dark side of me,” from Kiss from a Rose. The original set also includes an exclusive rag & bone scarf designed by multimedia artist Annina Roescheisen and produced in Italy.

At its core, the “Dawn” retains everything that made the Leica Q2 such a celebrated camera: a 47.3 MP full-frame sensor paired with the superb Summilux 28mm f/1.7 ASPH. lens.

Condition: This camera is in excellent condition, with only faint signs of use. A Leica screen protector is attached to the rear LCD. The firmware has been updated to the current version, and all functions checked to ensure the camera is working to factory standards.
