The Leica Elmarit-R 135mm f/2.8 was first introduced in 1964, and updated to the second version in 1968. This particular lens is a version 2, which featured a complete optical redesign. It can be used with the Leica R-Adapter-M to mount on the M (Typ 240) camera. It features an aperture range of f/2.8-22 and a minimum focus distance of 1.5 meters.

This lens is in very good condition especially considering its age. The lens barrel has a few nicks but no dents or major scratches. The glass is clean with no dust or scratches. Focusing is smooth and the aperture ring has firm click stops.

This lens was given a full CLA service by DAG Camera. The lens was cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted to factory tolerances.
