• This high-speed Leica M lens is the third version in the series.  The design consists of eight elements, one very thick, with two cemented pairs. The compact, light-weight design focuses down to .7 meters and only weights 250 grams.

  This particular lens is clean with signs of normal wear on the lens barrel. The focusing ring moves very smoothly with nice drag. The aperture ring moves freely with positive detents. The glass is clear and free of scratches, haze, fungus and dust. Service has been completed recently by Leica. The work performed was to replace the bayonet mount with 6-bit coded ring and clean, lubricate, and adjust all parts for proper working order.
