The Leica ZM 1 Urban Green is the newest addition to the Leica watch portfolio. With its deep green fumé noir dial and meticulous detailing, the ZM 1 Urban Green reflects the harmony between nature and modern urban design—capturing Leica’s commitment to minimalist aesthetics and mechanical precision.

Each dial is milled from solid high-strength aluminum, then brushed vertically by hand and painted to create its signature gradient—shifting subtly from green at the center to near-black at the edge. The result is a unique dial in every timepiece, complemented by diamond-cut, rhodium-plated indices and hands that offer legibility and elegance in equal measure.

At the heart of the ZM 1 is the Leica ZM 1, a hand-wound mechanical movement developed and assembled by hand in the Black Forest in partnership with Lehmann Präzision. Comprising 280 components and featuring 26 jewels, the movement is tested on five axes for exceptional accuracy and delivers a power reserve of 60 hours.

A standout feature of the ZM series is the patented push-crown. Inspired by the shutter release of a Leica camera, a single press halts the movement, resets the seconds hand to zero, and allows for precise time setting. A red dot status indicator appears when the movement is paused—an elegant nod to Leica’s design heritage.

The ZM 1 Urban Green may be purchased with your choice of strap: a stainless-steel Milanaise bracelet with a satin finish and engraved deployant clasp, or a black calfskin leather strap lined with green Alcantara and finished with contrast-green stitching and a matching stainless-steel pin buckle.
