The Louis ‘Luxury Edition’ is a limited run crafted with Novovappa calfskin leather from one of the oldest tanneries in Francae. It’s tanned in a special process to obtain a deep, strong surface that forms a beautiful patina over the years.

Unlike semi-aniline leathers, such as the Oberwerth Casual Line, Novonappa is an open-pored leather that picks up the character of everyday use creating a unique one-of-a kind appearance - no two bags will wear the same! It’s truly a piece of art and an expression of the individual photographer.

The Oberwerth Louis was developed according to the requirements and comments of Leica Stores and passionate Leica users, and was thought out down to the smallest detail.
