• The Leica 90mm Tele-Elmarit-M was manufactured in a couple different versions V1 1964-1974 and V2 1974-1989. This particular lens is the first version.  The differences between V1 and V2 were reduced glass elements due to a new type of glass in V2 and the focus ring on V1 was scalloped, where V2 was knurled..  Because of the new glass and technology, V2 is slightly smaller and lighter. This particular lens was manufactured in 1964.

The aperture ring moves with positive detents designating the f/stops. The glass is haze and fungus free. A recent CLA has been completed by Leica. The work performed was degrease aperture blades, tune focus-repair mount, polish optics, and clean, lubricate, and adjust all parts for proper working order.
