• The updated version of the original A36-type lens has a new non-rotating mount which was introduced with the focusing scale on the barrel.  An included supplementary oculars (goggles), which came into place over the viewfinder and rangefinder windows when the lens was mounted on the M3, helped correct the camera's optics for the 35mm field of view.

  This lens would be a great addition to your M system, if not to use on your M, but to have in your Leica collection). The lens and goggles are very clean. The lens shows signs of normal use. There are some scratches and scuffs around the lens barrel.  The drag is smooth with focusing.  The aperture has good feeling, positive detents.  The glass is clear and scratch free.

  The goggles are clean with normal wear patterns.  The glass in the goggles are clean but the large window has a small chip.

  This lens has had a recent CLA from DAG Cameras. The work performed was cleaned, lubed and adjusted for proper working order.
