• The Tele-Elmar replaced the Elmar of the same focal length as a more compact lens.  It is a true telephoto construction with five elements in three groups.  The lens head is detachable for use with the Visoflex, but owing to its telephoto construction that no extension tube is required.  The  lens was made in M-mount only, in black and with click-stop diaphragm ring with half stops.  Early lenses had a scalloped focusing ring.

  This lens would be a great addition for your collection or to actually use with your M-System. The lens is clean with some small scuffs and scratches from normal use. The focusing ring moves very smoothly with nice drag. The aperture ring moves freely with positive detents. The glass is clear and free of scratches, but has some haze from age (which does not affect performance).

  The lens has been serviced recently by DAG Camera. The work performed was to clean, lubricate, and adjust all parts for proper working order. Overall, this is a great working lens.
