• A Leitz design replacing the Super Angulon, this lens has eight elements in an unsymmetrical design with two cemented pairs.  It can be used on both the M and the CL without interfering with the meter arm.  Mount is in black anodized.

  Variations: 1. Early samples had a smaller front element and the front of the mount did not bell out.  These accepted E49 filters.  2. Early lenses offered scale focusing down to 0.4 m (non RF version) and had a serrated focusing lever, later ones had a finger grip lever and focused down to 0.7 m (RF focusing).

  This ultra-wide lens would be great addition for any landscape photographer. The lens is very clean with no signs of excessive use or abuse. The focusing ring moves very smoothly with nice drag. The aperture ring moves freely with positive detents. The glass is clear and free of scratches, haze, fungus and dust.

  Service has been completed on the lens recently. The work performed was to replace the bayonet ring with a 6-bit coded ring, tune the focus, and clean, lubricate, and adjust all parts for proper working order.
