Introduced in 1992, this 2x extender uses special high refractive glass to maintain the full apochromatic correction of all apo-lenses of the Leica R-system. It is also suitable for all Leica R lenses with focal lengths 50mm or more and speeds of f/2 or less.

Leica code 11262, 11269 ditto with contacts for R8.

This extender is clean and shows signs of minimal use. Service has been performed by DAG Camera recently. The work completed was to polish inner elements, and clean, lubricate, and adjust all parts for proper working order.
