The first Leica M-camera, built between 1954 and 1966. In its final form regarded by many users as the finest rangefinder camera ever made. Built for durability using aluminum for the body and brass for the top and bottom plates, this camera can take any type of shooting condition. Over a quarter of a million were built in thirteen years. Production ceased for the M3 in 1966, but a few more were made for the German army.

This Leica M3 35mm film style camera would be an excellent addition to a collection or even everyday shooting. The camera is very clean and shows minimal use for its age. The viewfinder window is bright and clear of haze or fungus. The film compartment is very clean, while the shutter curtain is in perfect condition. The cladding is clean with no hard wear showing. The camera is in excellent condition for its age.
Recent service has been completed by DAG Camera. The work performed was to clean, lubricate, and adjust all parts for proper working order
