• The Leica M7 is one of Leica's most popular film cameras. The rangefinder is a upgraded camera over the M6. The upgrades of the M7 are milled brass top and bottom plates, electronic shutter, battery (for electronic shutter and metering) and TTL standard. Want to add a flash? The LEICA SF-20 or SF-24D flashes (sold separately) work perfectly with the TTLL system. The Leica M7 will work with M lenses made from 1954 to present.

  "Messsucher", the "M" in the Leica M System, is a term describing the combination of rangefinder and viewfinder.   This particular M7 is very clean, but shows signs of normal use. The viewfinder is clear, bright, and scratch free. The rubberized mechanical shutter has a nice soft click. The film compartment is very clean and the shutter curtain is in excellent condition. The cladding is clean with no wear showing.

  This camera has been serviced recently by Leica Germany. The work performed was to replace range finder 0.72, replace mask carrier, and clean, lubricate, and adjust all parts for proper working order. Overall, this camera is in excellent condition.
