This is the round, black, vented, threaded metal lens shade that comes new with the Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4, silver "steel rim". What makes this unique is its 46mm (E46) threading, allowing this lens hood to be attached to any Leica M lens with a 46mm (E46) filter thread size.
This hood is a great option for any M lens that doesn't have a built-in hood and accommodates 46mm filters, such as the Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH (Pre-FLE), Summarit-M 75mm & 90mm f/2.5, Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 V4, Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH V1, and more!
