Join us at Leica Store Miami for "Time in Focus," an intimate evening celebrating craftsmanship, precision, and the art of observation with Leica Specialist Josh Lehrer, photographer Bret Curry, and Managing Director of Ernst Leitz Werkstätten GmbH Henrik Ekdahl.
Bret will share his approach to photographing Leica Watches with Leica cameras, revealing how he captures detail, texture, and mechanical beauty, followed by a thoughtful conversation with Josh and Henrik exploring the shared philosophy behind Leica cameras and timepieces.
A comprehensive selection of Leica watches and accessories will be on hand for guests to see – and there will be an opportunity to win a Leica Sofort 2!
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

At 6:00 PM, join us for a thoughtful conversation between Bret Curry, Josh Lehrer, and Henrik Ekdahl, Managing Director of Ernst Leitz Werkstätten GmbH, exploring the shared philosophy behind Leica cameras and timepieces. Discover how light, design, and precision converge through the lens and within every second.

Henrik Ekdahl is the Managing Director of Ernst Leitz Werkstätten GmbH since 2024, and is responsible for the Leica watch and accessories business. Prior to working at Ernst Leitz Werkstätten, Henrik held leadership positions working for premium brands globally. Most recently Henrik was Managing Director for the Swiss luxury watch brand IWC Schaffhausen responsible for Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Israel. Before this, he held key management roles at both the BMW Group, working for Rolls-Royce and BMW, and the Richemont Group, working for Cartier and IWC Schaffhausen. Returning full circle in his career journey, Henrik previously served as the Area Manager for Eastern Europe at Leica Camera AG from 1996 to 1998.
Bret Curry is a Texas-bred cinematographer and photographer based in Nashville and Los Angeles. He has shot shows for clients and networks including AMC, National Geographic, A24, Apple, and Peacock and has shot watch campaigns for Hodinkee, Blancpain, Nivada Grenchen, Leica Watch and many more.
