The Leica M Handgrip 14405 provides a more secure and comfortable hold on Leica M film cameras, particularly when shooting one-handed or using larger and heavier lenses. Unlike a replacement baseplate, the grip attaches directly to the camera's tripod socket while leaving the baseplate release accessible, so film can be changed without removing the grip. It also provides a centered 1/4"-20 tripod socket on the bottom. Compatible with Leica M film cameras including the M3, M2, M4, M4-2, M4-P, M6, M7, MP, and M-A. It is not compatible with the M5 or digital Leica M cameras.
As is common with this grip, the black material on the inside is beginning to crack. This has no impact on functionality.
