The Leica M (Typ 240) platform, originally launched in 2012, has proven itself to be one of Leica’s most beloved and enduring digital camera systems. And the M-P (Typ 240) represents the pinnacle of the 240 series, especially in its gorgeous black paint finish over brass.

The M-P brought several welcome refinements to the original M (Typ 240), including the removal of the red Leica logo from the front, classic Leica script engraving on the top plate, the return of the frame line preview lever, blacked-out controls, a scratch-resistant sapphire glass LCD cover, and a doubling of the internal buffer from 1 GB to 2 GB. Add in the beautiful brass construction, and you've got a digital M that looks and feels every bit as special today as it did when it was introduced.

This particular M-P (Typ 240) might just be one of the finest examples available anywhere. Not only is it nearly flawless cosmetically, but it's also a complete set with the original box, packaging, paperwork, and accessories, plus a Thumbs Up and an extra battery. And if you know anything about the availability of batteries for the M240 generation, you'll appreciate just how valuable that extra battery is!

Best of all, this camera has recently undergone a full overhaul by Leica Customer Care and comes with a one-year warranty. A gorgeous black paint Leica M, a complete set, exceptional condition, and freshly serviced by Leica. What's not to love?
