My favorite thing that nobody knows about…
I’m a huge fan of the M (Typ 240). It has that vintage camera feel to it, while also performing like a modern camera. I’m a video guy and being the only generation M that shoots video (even if it’s 1080p) it has a special place in my Leica heart.
A Leica special edition that I fantasize about...
The Leica Q2 “007” Edition. The dark green looks amazing with the red dot, as well as the gun barrel design on the lens cap. To top it off, the briefcase is so elegant!
Most popular lens in my Lightroom Catalog...
The 24-90mm SL lens. It’s 5 primes into 1 zoom lens. Exceptional quality at every focal length, quick autofocus, sharp corner to corner, and a workout at the same time!
The camera bag I swear by...
Oberwerth Harry & Sally. It’s the perfect size for an SL2-S and a lens, or an M with a couple of lenses. Looks great and so comfortable to travel with.
My camera always wears...
Arte di Mano Rally Volpe Boa Strap. So simple, yet so comfortable and elegant. It looks great with any silver camera or lens, and gives your kit a beautiful vintage look.
Color or Black & White?
Black and white. It’s what first attracted me to photography. The timeless look to them is something you can’t imitate with color.
My favorite place to shoot...
Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Incredible colors, lot of people walking around, cats, amazing light that changes at different times of the day, and cool bars for a much needed piña colada when it’s hot!
