Buying a new Leica M should be exciting. Charging batteries, updating firmware, setting the clock and digging through menus? Maybe a little less so.

That’s why we created LSM Signature Setup, a complimentary service available with the purchase of any new digital Leica M camera from Leica Store Miami.

Before your camera leaves our store, one of our Leica Specialists will personally prepare it according to your preferences. When it arrives, simply open the box, attach your lens and start shooting.

How it works.

1. PURCHASE YOUR NEW DIGITAL M

LSM Signature Setup is complimentary with the purchase of any new digital Leica M camera from Leica Store Miami.

2. SELECT YOUR SIGNATURE SETUP OPTIONS

After purchasing your new Leica M, you’ll receive a personalized setup form where you can choose exactly what you’d like us to take care of before we ship your camera.

Your complimentary LSM Signature Setup can include:

Updating your camera to the latest firmware
Fully charging the included battery
Installing a Leica screen protector, if purchased with your camera
Configuring the camera with our recommended starting settings
Setting the correct time and date for your location
Attaching the neck strap
Installing compatible accessories purchased with your camera
Adding your name to the camera’s Copyright Information field
Formatting an SD memory card purchased with your camera

Choose everything, select only the services you want, or opt out entirely. It’s your camera, and we’ll prepare it the way you want it.

3. SIT TIGHT WHILE WE PREPARE & SHIP YOUR CAMERA

Your camera will be individually prepared by a member of our Leica Store Miami team.

Once the setup is complete, we’ll include a signed certificate with your camera documenting its model, serial number, setup date, and the name and signature of the Leica Store Miami team member who personally prepared it.

We’ll then carefully repack your camera for its journey to you.

4. OPEN THE BOX & START SHOOTING!

Your camera arrives prepared for you. Attach your lens and enjoy your new Leica.

5. BOOK YOUR COMPLIMENTARY 1:1 SESSION

Our support doesn’t end when your new Leica leaves the store.

Following your purchase, we’ll provide resources to help you get the most out of your new camera, including information on registering your Leica and activating its extended warranty, keeping up with future firmware updates, downloading the Leica FOTOS app and instruction manual, and relevant Red Dot Forum Camera Talk videos we’ve produced for your camera.

Your new camera also includes a complimentary one-hour training session with Leica Store Miami, and we’ll provide everything you need to schedule it.

Prefer Your Camera Factory Sealed?

No problem. LSM Signature Setup is completely optional. Because performing the service requires us to open your camera’s original factory seal, you’ll be asked to authorize us to do so before we begin. If you prefer to receive your camera unopened with its original factory seal intact, simply opt out when you complete the setup form. We’ll leave everything exactly as it came from Leica.
