The Leica M11 platform represents the most capable, flexible, and highest-performance digital rangefinder system ever produced. With 60MP resolution, advanced metering options, internal storage, USB-C workflow, and five distinct variants including the M11, M11-P, M11-D, M11 Monochrom, and the new M EV1, the modern M system offers extraordinary depth and versatility.
Led by Leica Specialist and Red Dot Forum Camera Talk cohost Josh Lehrer, this program reflects years of hands-on experience with the M system and thousands of hours spent working directly with Leica M owners. The Leica M11 Owner’s Boot Camp is an intensive, immersive three-day masterclass designed for photographers who want total confidence and mastery of their camera. Class size is strictly limited to eight participants to ensure meaningful dialogue, individual attention, and a highly focused learning environment.
You've made a serious investment in your Leica equipment. The next step is ensuring that investment translates into confidence, precision, and complete operational command in the field.
This is not a casual overview. It is a structured deep dive into the M11 platform, touching on menu mastery, rangefinder technique, customization, lens selection, calibration checks, firmware strategy, adapted optics, and the nuanced differences between each M11 variant, along with practical insights that only come from real-world use.
Over three concentrated days, you will develop a level of instinctive control that allows the camera to disappear and your photographic vision to take over.
This three-day program will take place May 1–3, 2026. Classroom sessions on May 1 and 2 will be held at the Hotel Colonnade in Coral Gables, with the final day hosted at Leica Store Miami.
If you own an M11-generation camera and want to extract every ounce of performance from it, this workshop was designed for you.
While the workshop is built specifically around the Leica M11 platform, photographers considering an upgrade from an earlier digital M or evaluating the M11 system are also welcome. Experiencing the camera in depth, in a focused small-group setting, often provides clarity that no online review or spec sheet ever could. A limited number of loaner cameras may be available upon request.

Workshop Recording: This workshop will be professionally recorded. The complete recording will be made available exclusively to registered attendees and will not be shared publicly.
While this is a classroom-based program, it is not eight hours of passive instruction. Each day incorporates structured, practical exercises designed to reinforce what is being taught. You will actively work with your camera, test techniques in real time, and apply concepts immediately so the material becomes instinctive rather than theoretical.
