Frames Between the Pain
The series "Frames Between the Pain" emerges from Terry La Rue's print archives spanning the last seven years. His images, often captured with unique techniques such as microscope lenses and handmade printmaking, explore profound themes of pain, loneliness, and addiction, while giving a glimmer of hope. By merging street photography with abstract and conceptual images featuring live insects, they show a contrast that resembles pieces of an internal puzzle that mirrors the ever-changing landscape of his physical and mental states.
