Kirsten Hines
Kirsten Hines discussed how her passion for nature and travel led her to backpack around the world for three years, a journey that converted her from a herpetologist scientifically analyzing nature to a storyteller reflecting nature. She explained how her biologist training influences her photography and how being involved in the arts has expanded her work to include a more interpretive abstract style aimed at conveying the emotional experience of nature.
