Reimagined: A Journey to Southeast Asia was a presentation by Jacob Bacallao and Nicolas Stipcianos about how their journey to make art transitioned into a passion for giving back. They shared their still photos and video, their process and their experience from the coup in Thailand to the monks in the Cambodian jungle.
We embarked on a journey with fresh eyes. We became fully immersed in the culture while abandoning our western sensibilities. This decision became the difference between us and every other person visiting these wonderful places, with a full awareness of what set us apart we were quickly welcomed into homes, monasteries, rural fishing outposts and everywhere in between as friends.
