WASTED

"The photojournalism project, WASTED, is another product of my overwhelming curiosity and passion. The black and white film series seeks to answer the question of what happens to all of the waste a community produces. Taking photographs using black and white film proved to set the perfect tone for this semester-long project, especially when considering the prints completed in the Darkroom, and my Rock n' Roll Leica! This project was possible with the help of local government managed waste facilities at three different locations around Miami-Dade County, Doral (Covanta) landfill, South Dade Homestead landfill, and the recycling facility at Pembroke Pines."
