The new Leica Extender L 2.0x doubles the focal length of the Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200mm f/2.8 ASPH to 400mm, and the Vario-Elmar-SL 100-400mm f/5-6.3 even further to a range of 800mm. At approximately 7.76 ounces, this compact extender is designed to fit into any bag for on-the-go accessibility. Both the extended focal length and the aperture are written into the image data, to ensure that they show the actual settings used. Please note, this extender is ONLY compatible with the Vario-Elmar-SL 100-400mm f/5-6.3 and the Vario-Elmarit-SL 70-200mm f/2.8 ASPH. It will not work on any other L-mount lenses.
