Leica Store Miami ("we", "us") sells cameras, lenses and accessories online at leicastoremiami.com, by phone and email, and in our showroom at 372 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, Florida. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our showroom, and the emails and text messages we send.
Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and what you tell us when you place an order, book an appointment or workshop, submit a trade-in, join a waiting list, sign up for emails or texts, or contact us by email, phone or text.
Order and payment information. What you buy, return or trade, and how you pay. Card payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments, PayPal and, in our showroom, Clover). We do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website we, Shopify and our analytics providers collect information about your device and browser, the pages and products you view, and what you add to your cart. We use cookies and similar technologies to do this. You can control cookies in your browser and through the cookie banner on our site.
Calls and messages. When you call, email or text us, we keep a record of the conversation so we can follow up and help you.
How we use your information
- To process and ship your orders, take payments, and handle returns, trade-ins and service.
- To answer your questions and keep track of what you have asked us for, such as a waiting list, a special order or an appointment.
- To send you order, shipping and appointment updates.
- With your permission, to send you news, new arrivals, events and offers by email or text.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it, and to recommend products you may be interested in.
- To prevent fraud and keep our store and customers safe.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages, we may text you about your orders, appointments, waiting lists and questions you have asked us, and, if you opt in to them, about new arrivals, events and offers.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@leicastoremiami.com or 305-921-4433.
- Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
We do not share your mobile number or your text messaging opt-in with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages for us.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with companies that help us run our business, and only as much as they need to do that work:
- Our e-commerce platform (Shopify) and payment processors.
- Shipping carriers and delivery partners (such as UPS and FedEx).
- Email and text messaging providers (such as Klaviyo and Twilio).
- Website analytics and fraud-prevention services.
- Leica Camera and authorized service facilities, when you send equipment for repair or register a warranty.
- Our photography workshop partner, Red Dot Photo Workshops, when you book one of their workshops through us.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or our customers, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
Your choices
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text.
- Access, correction and deletion: email info@leicastoremiami.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may keep some records where the law requires it, such as order and tax records.
- Cookies: manage them in your browser or through our cookie banner.
How we keep your information
We keep your information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including our legal and accounting obligations, and protect it with reasonable technical and organizational measures. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
