Peak Design Travel Backpack 45L, Sage

A rugged, expandable, and brilliantly accessible carry-on travel backpack driven by a simple truth: no two trips are the same.

One Bag, Every Trip

Meets international carry-on size requirements, but expands to be a 45L gear-hauler and collapses to be a 35L day bag, making it unmatched for 1-bag travel.

• Top, side, front and rear access
• Expands to 45L, collapses to 35L
• Weatherproof, 100% recycled 400D nylon canvas shell

Access From Every Side

Features top, side, front and rear access via weatherproof #8 and #10 UltraZips, which can withstand decades of use thanks to their proprietary abrasion-resistant thread. Quick-access pockets keep keys, glasses, passport and more close at hand.

Organized Inside and Out

Hugely expandable side pockets hold water bottles, tripods, and more. Padded laptop and tablet sleeves protect your devices, and the main cavity is divisible into 2 compartments via a zippered mesh sleeve.

Carry It Your Way

Tuck-away shoulder straps and hip belt, 360-degree grab handles, and cleverly concealed external carry straps let you carry the bag however the trip demands.

Built to Last

All packed within a sleek, weatherproof 100% recycled 400D nylon canvas shell with 900D bottom liner. Fair Trade Certified and 100% carbon neutral.

Works With Packing Cubes, Camera Cubes and Pouches

Works seamlessly with Peak Design Packing Cubes, Camera Cubes, and Pouches, sold separately. Organize clothes, shoes, toiletries, cords, adapters, and photo/video gear from a single camera/drone to a full professional kit, which you can quickly access from the sides or rear of the bag.

Comparing to the 30L?

The 45L is better for:

• 1-bag travel for trips 4 days and longer
• More access and organization options
• Trips where you need multiple jackets, pairs of shoes, or other bulky clothing
• Carrying camera gear: better compatibility with PD Camera Cubes, plus dual side access

Higher price of Coyote colorway due to material & development costs (see specs).
