The Shimoda Action X35 v3 Pro Kit is an adventure camera backpack that carries your gear comfortably all day and for days at a time. It's a 35 liter pack that expands to 42 liters, and it ships with a Large DSLR Core Unit v3-B, Helmet Holder and Rain Cover.
Built for the Long Haul
Shimoda's Action X adventure outdoor camera backpacks have been to the peak of Mount Everest and to the farthest reaches of the globe. They are built to comfortably carry camera gear not just all day long, but for days at a time.
- 35 liter backpack, expandable to 42 liters
- Fully modular Core Unit camera insert system
- 20 inches (50 cm) tall, meeting most international carry-on regulations
Modular Core Unit System
Shimoda's fully modular Core Unit system ensures that creators never carry more weight or bulk than necessary, and that the bag interior can be quickly adapted to camera systems from small to large. The X35 utilizes Shimoda's DSLR Core Units, which are matched to the front-to-back depth of the 35/40/50L backpacks. It fits Core Units as small as the Small DSLR Core Unit for more compact camera kits, and up to the XL40 RST Core Unit, which maximizes the entire interior space for camera gear and fits an attached 180-600/200-600mm lens, or an unattached 600mm 4.0.
What Fits
Paired with the included Large DSLR Core Unit, the Action X35 Pro Kit will fit a gripped mirrorless or DSLR camera (up to 6.7 in or 17cm tall) with 5-8 lenses, up to an attached 180-600/200-600mm. The rear laptop sleeve protects a laptop up to 16 inches (40 cm).
A Harness That Fits You
The height-adjustable harness and removable waist belt can be dialed in to fit users from 5-feet (1.5M) tall all the way to 6'8" (2 meters) when used with the optional Booster Kit. The X35 has three height options with approximately 7 cm (2.7 in) of vertical adjustment, so the same backpack can fit short or tall, male or female, torso heights. Those with taller or broader torsos can add the Booster Kit for greater range in torso fit, and female users can add the optional Women's Harness Straps for a more comfortable fit.
Expandable Rolltop Access
The rolltop lets you adjust the pack to your gear needs while keeping a tight, compact fit. It expands by 7 liters, taking the pack from 35 to 42 liters when needed. The top section also has an additional quick-access YKK SplashGuard zipper that makes getting at your gear quick and easy, especially in foul weather.
Ready for Travel
At 20 inches (50 cm) tall, the X35 meets most international carry-on regulations.
Top Loader Compatible
The X35 is also compatible with Shimoda's optional small, medium and large Top Loader camera bags, for anyone who wants an internal camera cube that can be carried separately from the backpack with a shoulder strap.
