Leica E49 Red Filter

The red filter enhances contrast in black-and-white photography, producing dramatic landscape shots. By darkening blue tones, the red filter boosts contrast between the sky and cloud. Landscapes gain added vibrancy as the red filter boosts contrast in green tones. The red filter is equally well-suited to portrait photography, gently smoothing skin tones.
