Leica M11-P Safari Introduced
The Leica Safari editions have been highly regarded since the 70s. Featuring the coveted olive-green paint finish and leatherette covering, as well as stylishly staged design elements in silver, the Leica M11-P Safari is writing the next chapter of this success story. Exquisite engravings and the deliberate omission of the red Leica logo enhance the minimalist aesthetic. With technical specifications based on the Leica M11-P, this special edition is a seamless blend of timeless style and cutting-edge performance.
The silver controls and dials on the camera’s top plate and front strike a stunning contrast. The red Leica logo has been replaced with a subtle silver screw. The back of the camera is equipped with controls in stylish black. Further distinguishing details, such as the engraved signature Leica script and “Leica Camera AG” and “Wetzlar Germany” lettering, complete the exceptional design of the Leica M11-P Safari.
The Leica M11-P Safari pulls off the same extraordinary technological feats as the base Leica M11-P model: equipped with Content Credentials technology, it can sign every image with tamper-proof metadata, such as the camera model, copyright information, and file creation and editing history. Its internal 256 GB memory and optional UHS-II card slot allow creatives to capture in DNG and JPG formats, while the scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal LCD offers full control even in challenging visibility conditions.
Brilliant images rich in contrast and detail are produced by the high-performance BSI CMOS full-frame sensor with Triple Resolution Technology, enabling image capture at 60, 36, or 18 megapixels. Thanks to seamless connectivity via wireless and wired options, the camera integrates easily with the Leica FOTOS app.
Please note that the camera will come with the black carrying strap, made by Leica. The strap shown in the images is the Leica Leather Carrying Strap with Shoulder Pad, Cognac (product Code 18559), which is not included in the scope of delivery. Additionally, the Leica M11-P Safari is a current product within Leica’s product portfolio moving forward.
